Case Study: Fedict - Federal Portal 'Belgium.be'
Problem
The Federal Portal V1 was outdated and difficult to manage. Therefore the Federal government invested in a new portal based on SDL Tridion.
Solution
The functional analysis was done by Internet Architecs. The main goal was to categorize the content (more than 10.000 pages) by using ‘themes’. The team of content-editors was extended and organized because the SDL Tridion setup facilitates content sharing for the whole government. Amplexor created the faceted navigation throughout the whole website. This also facilitates linking content in an easy way.
