First Belgian AIIM Sharepoint Master Works at Amplexor

At Amplexor, the customer's needs are always a priority. But everything can be improved. That is why several Amplexor employees took an AIIM training course. Recently, Amplexor even became the first Belgian company with an AIIM SharePoint Master on its payroll.

AIIM (Association for Information and Image Management) is an independent international organisation. It provides companies with training, best practices and research in order to find, optimise and control their information.

The new AIIM training programme includes three certification levels: practitioner, specialist and master. After completing the SharePoint practitioner and specialist training courses, ECM consultant Thierry Janssens has now obtained the title of 'AIIM SharePoint Master'. Thierry is currently the only AIIM SharePoint Master in Belgium.

"The AIIM training courses focus mainly on the end-user, which fits perfectly with Amplexor's philosophy," Thierry explains. "The human component is a key element, as well as technical implementation. This requires good communication with the customer. When companies implement SharePoint, their approach is often too technical. In some cases, they implement the product because they have the necessary licences anyway, without really taking into account the business goals they want to reach."

Besides AIIM SharePoint Master Thierry Janssens, Amplexor has several other AIIM-certified employees. "We find the whole process of implementing a solution important, not only the technical component," says Eric Pieters, CEO of Amplexor. "So we concentrate on the functional analysis of content, we talk to customers about their expectations and we provide support to end-users throughout the change. It is very important to convince people of the benefits of change and to keep them in mind when working on a solution," concludes Eric Pieters.
