Web Developer (Java or .Net)

Amplexor, with offices in Leuven and Gent, is seeking passionate, team-oriented and self-motivated Web  Developers to help build web based content management solutions and web applications for our customers.

Job Responsibility: 
  • Gather application requirements from users, create preliminary design concepts and draft technical design documents, in close collaboration with other architects and the client.
  • Implement web content management systems and websites
  • Provide superior technical service and build successful long-term relationships with our clients.
  • Set-up of test environments and application stress testing
  • Maintain suite of existing solutions: implement new feature requests and fix critical bugs.
  • Contribute to the development of the team through collaboration with other developers on code reviews and internal infrastructure and process enhancements.
Profile: 
  • You have a degree in computer sciences (university degree or equivalent) and minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • You have experience in one or more programming languages (Java, PHP or .Net,…) (Certifications are a plus)
  • You like working in small teams, but are able to work on your own.
  • Exceptional problem solving aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills  and you like direct customer contact
  • Perfect knowledge of Dutch, good knowledge of English ; knowledge of French is a plus
Technical Requirements: 
  • You have an in depth knowledge of web applications development
  • Experience with web application tools/technologies/frameworks/standards
  • You have knowledge of XML technologies
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and experience with database programming.
  • Experience with web content management platforms (Tridion, Sharepoint, Smartsite, Day,Vignette, Sitecore, Mediasurface, Ektron,  Alfresco,  Drupal, Acquia, Joomla, Apache Cocoon etc) or portal software (Weblogic Portal, IBM WebSphere, JBoss, Liferay,etc.) is a plus
