Senior Java Architect - Team Lead

Amplexor is seeking passionate, team-oriented and self-motivated Senior Java Architects to help build Java based content management solutions and web applications for our customers. You will be responsible for building and maintaining critical applications which help our customers to differentiate themselves.
- Gather application requirements from users, create preliminary design concepts and draft technical design documents, in close collaboration with other architects and the client.
- Set-up of test environments and application stress testing
- Set-up of servers and server farms, including optimisation of web and application servers
- Contribute to the development of the team through collaboration with other developers on code reviews and internal infrastructure and process enhancements.
- You have a degree in computer sciences (university degree or equivalent) and 3 years industry experience
- You are passionate about Java (Certifications are a plus)
- You like working in small teams and have good coaching/team lead skills
- Exceptional problem solving aptitude and attention to detail.
- Your mother tongue is Dutch and you have a good working knowledge of English
- You have an excellent knowledge of Java technologies
- Experience with Java tools/technologies/frameworks/standards (e.g. Eclipse, Hibernate, Spring, JSR-standards, etc.) and software development methods and tools
- Knowledge of UML is a plus
- You have an in-depth knowledge of XML technologies (XSLT, Xpath, DOM and SAX)
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and experience with database programming.
- Experience with Java based enterprise content management platforms ( Alfresco, Apache Cocoon, Adobe Day , etc.), knowledge of search/classification tools (FAST, Verity, Apache Lucene, etc.) or portal software (BEA Weblogic , IBM WebSphere, JBoss, Liferay,etc.) is a plus
